How to connect QuickBooks

Sync invoices and payments directly to QuickBooks Online.

Go to Settings → Integrations

In your dashboard sidebar, click Settings, then Integrations. You'll see all available connections.

Click Connect next to QuickBooks

This opens the QuickBooks authorization page. Sign in with your QuickBooks Online account credentials.

Authorize AlwaysRespond

Review the permissions AlwaysRespond is requesting (read/write access to invoices and customers) and click Authorize.

Choose your sync settings

Select whether to sync invoices automatically when created, or manually. Choose which QuickBooks account to post income to.

Test the connection

Create a test invoice from the Payments tab and check QuickBooks Online to confirm it appears within 30 seconds.

Frequently asked

Which version of QuickBooks is supported?

QuickBooks Online only. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.

Will existing invoices sync retroactively?

No. Only invoices created after the connection is set up will sync. Existing records stay where they are.
