Get the right tech to the right job.

The job is booked. AlwaysRoute picks the tech who can actually take it: right skills, on shift, closest to it. Then it gets them moving.

Your dispatch board
The dispatch board with the day's jobs laid out across technicians

What it does.

Auto-assign by skill, shift, and drive time

Live GPS map, from the free app or the tech's browser

Job cards by text, nothing to install

A whiteboard shows you the day. It does not run it.

AlwaysRoute matches skill, shift, and drive time, then texts the tech and the customer.

The questions owners ask.

How does auto-assignment work?

When a job is booked, AlwaysRoute looks at which techs have the right skills, who's on shift in your business's own timezone, how far each one is from the job based on where their day actually has them, and how loaded their day already is. Best fit gets the job. You can override anytime.

Do my techs need to install something?

Nothing is required. Techs get job cards by text and can call the business line to hear their schedule, update a job, or mark it done. There's also a free iOS and Android app with schedules, job updates, team chat, and background location sharing, for crews that want it.

How does the live map work without an app?

Two ways: the free iOS/Android app shares location in the background, or a tech can open their My Location page in the phone's browser and tap share, no install needed. Either way their position appears on your dispatch map and routing uses it. If a tech isn't sharing (or their last position is stale), the board falls back to their home base, so you always see the honest picture.

What happens when a customer cancels?

The job comes off the board, the assigned tech gets a text that it's cancelled, and the route stops planning around it. Reschedules move the job and the reminder with it.

Can I overrule what it decides?

Yes, on any job. Drag it to whoever you want on the dispatch board and that sticks. AlwaysRoute picks the best fit; it never gets the last word.

How are emergencies handled?

They jump the line rather than waiting their turn in the day's plan, and the assignment goes out immediately.

Does the customer know the tech is coming?

Yes. They get an on-the-way text without you touching your phone, and if you move or cancel the job they hear about that too.
