Bookings not appearing in Google Calendar
Fix calendar sync issues step by step.
Check the integration status
Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar. If it shows 'Disconnected', 'Error', or 'Reconnect required', your Google OAuth token has expired (this happens every few months automatically). Click Reconnect and sign back in with the same Google account.
Confirm you selected the right calendar
After reconnecting, make sure you selected the correct calendar from the dropdown. If you have a personal and business calendar, bookings go to whichever was selected during setup. Change it in Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar → Selected Calendar.
Check Google permissions haven't been revoked
Open myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access. Find AlwaysRespond and confirm it shows 'Has access to Calendar'. If it's missing, it was revoked, reconnect via your dashboard.
Check your timezone settings
If bookings appear in the wrong time slot (e.g. 3 hours off), there's a timezone mismatch. Go to Settings → Business → Timezone and make sure it matches your Google Calendar's timezone. They must match exactly.
Do a test booking to confirm the fix
Call your AlwaysRespond number, book a test appointment for tomorrow. Check two places: (1) Bookings tab in your dashboard, it should appear immediately. (2) Google Calendar, it should appear within 30 seconds. If it appears in the dashboard but not Calendar, the sync is broken. Reconnect the integration.
Still not working after reconnecting?
Sign out of your Google account in your browser, clear your browser cache, then go back to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar and reconnect fresh. This resolves most persistent token issues.
